How Learners Learn Without a Teacher:
A Qualitative Case Study on Students of 42 Seoul

A group of people trying to learn to swim gathered in the pool. You, the instructor, take them to the pool, demonstrate the main strokes, and then say, “Well, learn on your own for five days. The exam is in five days!” and leisurely exits the pool. What happens to the pool after that? Can people learn to swim? If they had learned to swim, what course would they have gone through?

<Unprecedented, Novelty Politics> introduces various overseas cases of realizing citizen participation politics based on online platforms. As the status quo of limitations for 'representative democracy by majority vote' has expired with new technologies, many expressed their sympathy for that a grassroots political system with direct citizen participation is an alternative. These somewhat strange cases on the book show that politics is not for specially chosen people doing only on special occasions, but that's a part of everyday life that ordinary people do just like having meals.
